Couple of times when you replace the remote battery you might have them not working responding but just follow the procedure below.
Check the remote antenna inside of your vehicle. Toggle the key from on and off to exit out the valet mode. My dad tested the battery I originally had in the fob and it was in fully working order so it was not dead. If your Code Alarm remote stops working after your car battery is disconnected you will have to re-program it.
